Dr. Marina Zorrilla

Biography

Dr. Astrid Marina Zorrilla M.D., known by her patients as Dr. Marina, is a bilingual (English and Spanish). Growing up in Puerto Rico, Dr. Marina lived there until leaving to attend the University of Florida. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and graduated cum laude. Continuing her studies at the University of Florida College of Medicine, she became a “Double Gator” when she obtained her medical degree. While in medical school, Dr. Marina developed an interest in women’s health and the surgery challenges for women. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. With her natural attention to detail, aesthetic eye, and wanting to deepen her scope of women’s wellness, Dr. Marina pursued a fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery under the directorship of Dr. Michael Rodriguez (Dr. “Magic Mike”) in Miami, Florida.
