Dr Sara Sabourirad is an independent dermatologist providing dermatology services to her patients at Melbourne Skin Dermatology. Dr Sara Sabourirad is a specialist dermatologist and a fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. She obtained her Medical Degree in 2007 and became a board certified dermatologist in Iran in 2011, where she ranked 2nd in the national dermatology board examinations. She was an Assistant Professor in Dermatology from 2013 until 2019 and was involved in teaching and academic research. This role was complemented by active involvement in leading various clinical research projects, resulting in over 25 scientific publications in the field. Dr Sabourirad relocated to Australia in 2019 and has undergone extensive upskilling at institutions such as the Skin Health Institute and The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. She has held positions of Academic Visiting Fellow of Dermatology at St George and Sutherland Clinical School, UNSW Medicine, in Sydney, and was an Honorary Medical Officer in Dermatology at St George Hospital, Sydney.
